POSITION
Summary:
Perform fire prevention, fire suppression, hazardous material incident response and emergency rescues and medical assistance duties to protect life and property; performs related responsibilities as required.
MINIMUM
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; Possession of a California Firefighter Apparatus Endorsement License and an acceptable driving record prior to appointment; EMT I, and Hazardous Materials First Responder Operations Certificate; at least one (1) or more years of experience as a full time firefighter or two years as a part-time firefighter (volunteer, reserve, paid-call, etc) or any combination thereof.
